Haworthia chloracantha

Haworthia chloracantha is 'n meerjarige sukkulent wat tot die genus Haworthia behoort en deel van die fynbos en die renosterveld is. Die spesie is endemies aan die Wes-Kaap en kom vanaf Herbertsdale en die Gouritsriviervallei tot by Groot-Brakrivier voor. Dit het 'n voorkomsgebied van 1343 km² en daar is 'n paar gefragmenteerde subpopulasies oor. Die plant het habitat afgestaan aan ontwikkeling (veral tussen Mosselbaai en Groot-Brak), steengroewe en padkonstruksie. Indringerplante word ook 'n bedreiging. Onwettige versamelaars en handelaars dra ook by tot die plant se afname.
