Raymond Buckland
Raymond Buckland (* 31 Augustus 1934; † 27 September 2017) was 'n Brits-gebore Amerikaanse skrywer van fiksie en nie-fiksie, 'n liturgis en Wicca-priester. Volgens sy geskrewe werke was hy die eerste persoon in die VSA wat openlik toegegee het dat hy 'n beoefenaar van Wicca is.

In 1963 het sy eerste en enigste ontmoeting met Gerald Gardner plaasgevind wat aan hom die beginsels van Gardneriaanse Wicca uiteengesit het. In die volgende jaar het hy Gardneriaanse Wicca in die VSA ingevoer, maar het later sy eie tradisie ontwikkel wat as Seax-Wicca bekend staan – sonder om sy oorspronklike Gardneriaanse eed te verbreek. Buckland het as spreker by Nieu-Heidense vergaderings en ander gebeurtenisse opgetree.

Buckland is op 31 Augustus 1934 in Londen (Verenigde Koninkryk) gebore. Hy is van Roma-afkoms en het in die Anglikaanse Kerk grootgeword. Toe hy omstreeks twaalf jaar oud was, het hy begin om in spiritualisme en okkultisme belang te stel.
Hy is by die King's College in Londen opgelei en het tussen 1957 en 1959 in die Koninklike Britse Lugmag (Royal Air Force) gedien. Saam met sy vrou Rosemary het hy in 1962 na die VSA geëmigreer en hom in Long Island in die deelstaat New York gevestig. Hy is op 27 September 2017 in Ohio op die ouderdom van 83 oorlede.
