The photo apparently predates the Pearly Thomas 400 streetcars replacing the smaller trolleys seen in the photo. The photo might have been taken in the 1910s, with more autos added by a postcard company artist. The majority of the buildings visible are still there today, but the cast iron balconies were removed in a 1920s "modernization" project. |
