Deutsch: Foto: ca. 1930er Jahre: Emmanuel Mounier (1905–1950) war ein französischer Philosoph. 1932 gründete und leitete er die Zeitschrift Esprit, das Organ der französischen Personalismus-Bewegung. Als Begründer der Austauschorganisation Comité français d'échanges avec l'Allemagne nouvelle im Jahr 1948 bekam er Einfluss auf die deutsch-französische Versöhnungs- und Verständigungspolitik in den 1950er und 1960er Jahren.
English: Picture of the 1930s: Emmanuel Mounier (1905–1950) was a French philosopher. In 1932 he was founder and director of Esprit magazine, the organ of the French Personalist movement. As founder of the exchange association Comité français d'échanges avec l'Allemagne nouvelle in 1948 he was able to influence the German-French politics in the 1950s and 1960s.
