Die subfilum '''Hexapoda''', wat ''ses pote'' beteken, is insekagtiges, die grootste groep [[geleedpotiges]] (in terme van die aantal spesies) en sluit [[insek]]te in, asook drie kleiner groepe geleedpotiges sonder vlerke: Collembola (springsterte), Protura (oerinsekte), en Diplura.
