:Please excuse the reply in English, but I want to be as sure as possible that I express myself accurately here.
:I am aware of Wikipedia's rules about plagiarism, copyright and original research. The content of this glossary derived from other sources has been acknowledged, to the best of my knowledge, in all cases. The English definitions are largely my own work, based on personal knowledge of the subject matter and explanations and definitions from the cited sources, expressed in my own words excepting some cases where the definition is common knowledge, or a frequently used explanation, therefore devoid of creative content traceable to a legal entity. I cannot guarantee that no-one has ever used the same combinations of words anywhere else, as there are only a limited number of good ways to concisely define a simple concept, but if this has happened, I am not aware of those cases. Other content from the English Wikipedia article is available under CC-by-sa licence and the source is mentioned. The Afrikaans translations of these English definitions are therefore also covered by the CC-by-sa licence, whether they are my own work, or that of other Wikipedians.
:The translations I have taken from Pharos dictionaries are generally single word or simple phrase translations, and these are all attributed to their sources, mainly for verifiability, as dictionary translations of single words and common phrases are not generally considered creative content. When there is no attribution for a translation it generally means that either I knew it already, and it is common knowledge, or I have been unable to find a published translation anywhere, and have provided my best guess, based on personal experience and these are generally marked with a question mark, indicating that they are not verifiable by any reference known to me. They are included mainly because I think that they are better than nothing, and I would welcome anyone who has a verifiable source changing them to something better. I would prefer not to have to add original research, but the alternative would be leaving the original research to someone else, who might be entirely ignorant of the industry and its conventions. There are in any case several translations I have not been willing to attempt. Part of the purpose of this article is to crowdsource translations and references where I have been unable to find them.
