Die '''becquerrel''' is die [[SI-stelsel|SI]] eenheid vir die aktiwiteit van 'n [[radio-aktiwiteit]] en het die simbool "Bq". Die naam "becquerel" is in 1975 deur die [[Internasionale Buro vir Mate en Gewigte|BIPM]] te ere van die Franse fisikus [[Henri Becquerel]] toegeken. Dit is gedefinieer as die gemiddelde aantal radio-aktiewe disintegrasies per sekonde. Dus het die becquerel die dimensie s<sup>-1</sup>.
