Die Balkanoorloë bestaan uit twee konflikte wat in 1912 en 1913 in die Balkan-skiereiland plaasgevind het. Vier Balkanstate verslaan die Ottomaanse Ryk in die eerste oorlog; een van die vier, Bulgarye, het in die tweede oorlog nederlaag gely. Die Ottomaanse Ryk het die grootste deel van sy grondgebied in Europa verloor. Oostenryk-Hongarye, alhoewel nie 'n stryder in die konflik nie, het betreklik swakker geword as 'n baie uitgebreide Serwië gestoot het vir die unie van die Suid-Slawiese volkere.^[1] Die oorlog het die toneel vir die Balkan-krisis van 1914 gestel en het dus gedien as 'n "voorspel tot die Eerste Wêreldoorlog".^[2]
