Paul Johnson

Paul Bede Johnson (2 November 1928 - 12 Januarie 2023) was 'n Engelse joernalis, geskiedkundige, toespraakskrywer, en outeur. Alhoewel hy tydens sy vroeëre loopbaan geassosieer is met linkse politieke denke was hy teen die einde van sy loopbaan as 'n konserwatiewe populêre historikus beskou.

Johnson is opgevoed aan die onafhanklike Jesuïete-skool, Stonyhurst Kollege en by Magdalen Kollege, Oxford. Hy het aanvanklik in die 1950's bekendheid verwerf as joernalis vir die New Statesman, waarvan hy later die redakteur was.
