The Rolling Stones
The Rolling Stones (gereeld afgekort tot The Stones) is 'n rock 'n' roll-groep wat uit vyf Britse jongelinge bestaan het, naamlik Mick Jagger, Brian Jones, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts en Bill Wyman. Op 3 Julie 1969 is Brian Jones in sy swembad oorlede en Mick Taylor het hom vervang. Toe Mick Taylor die groep in 1974 verlaat, het Ron Wood aangesluit. Daarna het Bill Wyman die groep in 1992 verlaat. In 2009 het die groep uit Mick Jagger op voorsang, Keith Richards op kitaar, Ron Wood op kitaar en Charlie Watts op die tromstel, bestaan.
