Alan Stevenson
Alan Stevenson (1807 in Edinburg – 1865) was 'n vuurtoringingenieur wat as Ingenieur by die Board of Northern Lighthouses in Skotland gewerk het. Hy was 'n lid van die beroemde Stevenson ingenieursfamilie, die oudste seun van Robert Stevenson, en broer van David en Thomas Stevenson. Tussen 1843 en 1853 het hy dertien vuurtorings in en om Skotland gebou. Die skrywer Robert Louis Stevenson was die seun van Thomas en dus die kleinneef van Alan Stevenson.
