Praecipua (ook bekend as 46 Leonis Minoris of 46 LMi) is die helderste ster in die sterrebeeld Klein Leeu (Leo Minor). Sy sterreklassifikasie is K0+III-IV, wat aandui dit is ’n rooireus of subreus, en dit het ’n skynbare magnitude van 3,83. Dit is sowat 95 ligjare van die Son af. Dit is vermoedelik ’n veranderlike ster met ’n wisseling van omtrent 0,05 magnitudes.[4]

"46 Leonis Minoris" is die ster se Flamsteed-naam. Dit het die tradisionele naam "Praecipua", van die Latyn vir "die hoof(ster van die Klein Leeu)".[10] Die naam was dalk oorspronklik dié van 37 Leonis Minoris wat later verkeerdelik aan 46 Leonis Minoris gegee is.[11] Die Internasionale Astronomiese Unie se sternaamwerkgroep (WGSN)[12] het die naam op 30 Junie 2017 amptelik vir dié ster goedgekeur.[13]
