Die Bach-Werke-Verzeichnis (BWV; letterlik Bach-Werke-Katalogus) is 'n katalogus van komposisies deur Johann Sebastian Bach. Dit was die eerste keer gepubliseer in 1950, geredigeer deur Wolfgang Schmieder. Die katalogus se tweede uitgawe verskyn in 1990. 'n verkorte weergawe van die tweede uitgawe, wat bekend staan as BWV2a, is in 1998 gepubliseer.

1126 komposisies is opgedra'n BWV nommer in die 20ste eeu. Meer komposisies is bygevoeg tot die katalogus in die 21ste eeu. Die Anhang (Anh.; Aanhangsel) van die BWV lyste oor 200 verloor het, betwyfel en onwaar komposisies.

Die eerste uitgawe van die Bach-Werke-Verzeichnis was gepubliseer in 1950. Dit toegeken word'n unieke nommer aan elke bekend samestelling deur Bach. Wolfgang Schmieder, die redakteur van wat katalogus, gegroepeer die komposisies deur genre, grootliks na aanleiding van die 19de-eeuse Bach Gesellschaft (BG) uitgawe vir die kollasie (bv. BG kantate aantal = BWV aantal van die kantate):[1]

Die Anhang van die BWV gelys werke wat nie geskik is vir die belangrikste katalogus, in drie afdelings:

  • I – verlore werk, of werk waarvan slegs'n klein fraksie het oorleef (Anh. 1-23)
  • II – werke van twyfelagtige egtheid (Anh. 24-155)
  • III – werke wat was eens toegeskryf word aan Bach, maar vir wat dit is gevestigde hulle was nie saamgestel deur hom (Anh. 156-189)

Binne elke afdeling van die Anhang die werk is gesorteer volgens genre, na aanleiding van die dieselfde volgorde van genres as die belangrikste katalogus.

Schmieder gepubliseer die BWV se tweede uitgawe in 1990, met'n paar veranderinge ten opsigte van egtheid diskriminasie, en meer werk by die belangrikste katalogus en die Anhang. Verskeie komposisies was herposisioneer in die oor-al die struktuur van die hoofstukke georganiseer deur die genre en Anhang afdelings.[2] In 1998 Alfred Dürr en Yoshitake Kobayashi gepubliseer'n klein uitgawe van die katalogus, wat gebaseer is op die 1990 tweede uitgawe. Hierdie uitgawe, wat bekend staan as BWV2a, bevat'n paar verdere updates en kollasie herrangskikkings.[3]

Getalle bo BWV 1126 is bygevoeg in die 21ste eeu. 'n nuwe hersiene weergawe van die Bach-Werke-Verzeichnis is aangekondig deur die Bach-Argief vir publikasie in 2018.[4]
