Die '''Bloustert-harder''' (''Valamugil buchanani'') is 'n [[vis]] wat voorkom aan die suidkus en die ooskus van [[Suid-Afrika]] vanaf die [[Breederivier]]. Die vis kan tot 1 m lank word. Die liggaam is silwer met die bokant wat blou-grys tot groenerig is. Dit het 'n donker spikkel in die middel van elke skub en die stertvin is donker grysblou. Die vis verkies oop strandmere om in te woon.
