Dus is die druk wat in die tabel gegee word, die dampdruk van water by die spesifieke temperatuur. Hierdie waarde kan ook met behulp van die Antoinevergelyking verkry word.
Die volgende beskryf die verskillende kolomme:
- T = Temperatuur in °C
- P = Druk in kPa(a)
- Hvloeistof = Entalpie van versadigde vloeistof in kJ/kg
- ΔHverd = Latente hitte (van verdamping) – die energie nodig om een kg vloeistof om te sit in damp.
- ΔW = PV werk benodig om een kg vloeistof om te sit in damp
- ρdamp = Digtheid van damp in kg/m3
Die entalpie van die damp kan soos volg bereken word:
Hdamp = Hvloeistof + ΔHverd
