Alpha Indi (afgekort as α Ind) is ’n ster in die sterrebeeld Indiër en is sowat 98 ligjare van die Son af.[2] Sy sterreklassifikasie is K0 III-IV,[1] en dit het dus die waterstof in sy kern opgebruik en weg van die hoofreeks geëvolueer. Sy massa is dubbel dié van die Son en dit is na raming 1 miljard jaar oud.[4] As ’n reusester het dit uitgesit tot 12 keer die Son se radius.[5] Sy effektiewe temperatuur is 4 893 K,[6] en dit het dus die oranje kleur wat tipies is van ’n K-tipe ster.[8]
