How would one say 'Jasmin', in the context of 'Stad van Jasmin'. Another question I have is how would you say Governor in Afrikaans? --Bezuidenhout (kontak) 15:41, 26 Junie 2009 (UTC)Beantwoord

How would one also say Governorate (as in a province type)?? --Bezuidenhout (kontak) 15:46, 26 Junie 2009 (UTC)Beantwoord

Do you mean Jasmine, the flower? If so, it is called "Jasmyn" in Afrikaans. A governer is a "goewerneur" and I'm not sure what "governorate" is (one Afrikaans Wikipedia uses "goewernoraat", but that's not right). I've found one Afrikaans source that uses "Goewernement", which is the same as the Dutch word for governorate. Anrie (kontak) 15:54, 26 Junie 2009 (UTC)Beantwoord
