Alpha Caeli (afgekort as α Cae) is 'n dubbelster in die sterrebeeld Graveerstif (Caelum). Die primêre ster, Alpha Caeli A, is ’n F-tipe hoofreeksster van spektraaltipe F2V en ’n skynbare magnitude van 4,44. Sy massa is 1,48 keer dié van die Son[4] en sy radius 1,3 keer die Son s'n.[6] Die geraamde rotasiespoed by die ster se ewenaar is 47,8 km/s.[7] Dit is vermoedelik ’n Delta Scuti-veranderlike.[9]

Die metgeselster, Alpha Caeli B, is ’n rooidwerg van spektraaltipe M0,5V en met ’n absolute magnitude van 9,8.[10] Dit is ’n UV Ceti-veranderlike wat lukrake toenames in sy ligsterkte ondervind.[11] Dié ster is tans met ’n hoek van 6,6 boogsekondes van A geskei, wat dui op ’n wentelbaan met ’n vermoedelike halwe lengteas van 206 AE.[12]

Alpha Caeli is sowat 65,7 ligjare van die Son af en is sowat 900 miljoen jaar oud. Sy wentelbaan om die Melkweg is sowat 26 ligjare van die kern af en het ’n eksentrisiteit van 0,07. Die wentelbaan lê na aan die galaktiese vlak.[4] Alpha Caeli is moontlik lid van die Ursa Major-groep sterre wat dieselfde kinetiese eienskappe het en moontlik uit dieselfde sterreswerm ontstaan het.[13]
