Vertaling van Sovereign State wysig

This always confuses me, the VK en Skotland are both countries. But according to English wikipedia to avoid confusion they tage 'UK' as a Sovereign state. Would Sovereign state be the ideal name for the VK in Afrikaans? If so can someone please help me with a translation? Ben Bezuidenhout (kontak) 18:03, 13 November 2009 (UTC)Beantwoord

VK is in Afrikaans the Verenigde Koninkryk and that's in englisch the UK = en:United Kingdom. And Skotland is part of the Verenigde Koninkryk. Is that what you mean? -- JCIV (Besprekings | Bydraes) 18:09, 13 November 2009 (UTC)Beantwoord
Sort of yes, but how would we phrase Skotland is 'part of' the VK in an infobox? By the way, dankie for your articles JCIV, they are very useful :) Ben Bezuidenhout (kontak) 19:31, 13 November 2009 (UTC)Beantwoord
I think the Infobox in the article about Skotland says it clear enough, but if the parliament of Skotland agree to the Referendum about Scottish-Independe and if the referendum, what is planned next year (see en:Scottish independence), than we must say "Town in Skotland". Geen problem, but more than Saadjies I can't create. :-( -- JCIV (Besprekings | Bydraes) 20:00, 13 November 2009 (UTC)Beantwoord
