Vachellia
Vachellia is 'n genus van blomdraende plante in die Fabaceae familie, algemeen bekend as doringbome of acacias. Dit behoort aan die subfamilie Mimosoideae. Sy spesies is as lede van die Acacia genus beskou tot 2009.[2][3] Vachellia kan van ander akasias onderskei word aan sy kopagtige bloeiwyses en stekelrige steunblaaie .[4]
