Isotope van nobelium
Die chemiese element nobelium (No), met ’n atoommassa van ongeveer 259 u, het geen stabiele isotope nie en word dus as ’n radioaktiewe element geklassifiseer. Die 12 isotope is onstabiel en het ’n relatief kort halfleeftyd (die meeste minder as ’n sekonde).
In die natuur kom geen nobelium voor nie; alle isotope is sinteties in ’n laboratorium berei. Die eerste sintetiese isotoop was 254No, in 1966.
Die kortslewende isotoop van nobelium is 250No, met ’n halfleeftyd van ongeveer 5,7 mikrosekondes. Die langslewende een is 259No, met ’n halfleeftyd van 58 minute.
